AFA co-organized the First MTCP2 Southeast Asia plus China Sub-regional Steering Committee (SRSC) meeting (11-12 February 2014, Pasig City, Philippines) with La Via Campesina as Sub-Regional Implementing Agencies (SRIAs) of MTCP2. Among the objectives of the meeting were: (1) to provide opportunities for representatives from each countries to share their Annual workplan and budget; (2) to identify common training needs, research agenda as well as regional policy agenda for SEA+China; and (3) to identify joint key actions at the sub-regional level for the year in the context of the celebration of the International year of family farming.
