As the whole world remember last year’s tsunami tragedy, let us pause for some moments of silence… and be one in mind and spirit with the survivors, especially men and women farmers and fishers, from Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka and Thailand. We pause to remember lost lives and injured bodies and spirits. We pause to share feelings of grief and loss. We pause to share the hope, the courage and the determination of the survivors to overcome the tragedy and to move on. We pause to pray for continued, speedy and effective efforts to rebuild and rehabilitate,in an appropriate and sustainable manner, and through the optimum use of available resources and expertise.
