AFA representatives Vic Fabe of PAKISAMA and Khun Wikit of SorKorPor, together with the AFA Project Officer for Operations Jun Virola and other representatives from SorKorPor, including its Secretary General Chaiwat Suravichai, attended the convention and training on Natural Farming in Jeju, South Korea on 4-15 November 2007.
The convention provided an opportunity for AFA to be introduced to the network of natural farming practitioners and supporters around the globe, especially the Janong Natural Farming Institute in Korea. The participants from AFA learned the philosophy and practices of natural farming and were given access to the Natural Farming Institute.
During the action planning, SorKorPor and PAKISAMA shared their intention to practice and promote natural farming in their respective organizations. As AFA members, they also shared their intention to promote it among the members and develop possible projects. ###
