AFA attended the ASEAN+ Civil Society Conference (ACSC-3) held last 2-4 November 2007 at the Peninsula Excelsior, Singapore, entitled “Building an ASEAN People’s Agenda”.
API Secretary General Nuruddin presented an AFA paper entitled “Reclaiming Spaces: Small Men and Women Farmers Defining the Challenge for ASEAN” this was presented during the plenary session Reclaiming Spaces: Civil Society and Social Movements Defining the Challenge for ASEAN.

AFA also co-organized a panel entitled “Roadmap towards a Sustainable Rural Development in ASEAN” with AsiaDHRRA, Focus on the Global South, and Third World Network (TWN). Niran of Sor Kor Por presented a paper entitled “The Agenda and Actions of Small Men and Women Farmers”.
