Purpose
AFA is launching a Young Farmers Case Story Series to shine a spotlight on the inspiring journeys, struggles, and innovations of our young farmer members. Through these short write-ups, we aim to celebrate their contributions, share learnings across the region, and make a strong case for investing in youth in agriculture.
We are calling on all AFA member organizations to submit a 1-page case story featuring young farmer member/s from your network. The purpose of the call is to create a collection of short, compelling stories of young farmers that:
- Showcase their farming practices or innovations
- Highlight their challenges and how they overcome them
- Present their hopes, aspirations, and contributions to any of the following: sustainable agriculture, agroecology, climate resiliency, land restoration, land rights, agripreneurship or cooperative development
