AFA Secretary General Esther Penunia and Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) – Civil Society Organization (CSO) Asia representative and Technical Adviser Raul Socrates Banzuela went to Timor Leste in October 2018 to get updates about the implementation of Sustainable Agriculture Productivity Improvement Project (SAPIP) which is funded by GAFSP. The GAFSP – CSO Mission visit is aimed at getting feedback from the CSO constituency in the country and facilitate interaction and dialogue between farmers organizations (FOs) and SAPIP implementors. The mission team was hosted by ANAPROFIKO, an umbrella organization of commercial seed products in Timor Leste that has 69 member associations in all 13 municipalities and 41 sub-districts. ###
