The Regional Consultation on Medium Term Cooperation Program was held on May 16-17 in Bangkok Thailand. It was organized by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
The AFA Secretary General, PAKISAMA National President, SorKorPor Chairperson, and
VNFU ICD Director attended the consultation.
During the consultation, AFA made contacts with government agriculture officials and representatives of key farmers’ organizations from 10 countries.
The consultation is the last activity in the program design phase. A final program will be drafted for consideration by IFAD ‘s board itself. If approved, the cooperation program may start in late 2007 or early 2008.
