SEWA MP is running the Digital Sakhi project, with the support of L&T Financial Services, in Dhar And Badwani districts of Madhya Pradesh. Over the period of one year, the Digital Sakhi program enhanced the skills of 1,000 women entrepreneurs working in dairy, goat farming, poultry, agriculture, and tailoring business. The project also provided additional resources to expand their business.
SEWA MP’s Digital Sakhis handhold 12,275 people in Dhar and Badhwani to learn and use the modes of digital payment. It helped the rural community to manage their transitions smoothly, especially in the times of COVID-19 pandemic.
