AFA’s Orientation and Leadership Development for its new Execom members successfully concluded yesterday in Quezon City, Philippines. It was facilitated by Soc Banzuela of PAKISAMA, who also handled the fourth session on fundraising in the afternoon. Other presentors were Lany Rebagay, AsiaDHRRA Program Officer, for session one on leadership, Shui Tsai, Technical Assistant, for session two on AFA history, vision, and goals, Agnes Ramos, Admin and Finance Officer, for session three on the status of AFA operations. The evening was devoted to a solidarity night among the AFA members and local farmer leaders from PAKISAMA.
