During a forum on NGO-PO partnership models held last June 20-21, 2006 in Taiping, Malaysia, case studies on PAKISAMA-PhilDHRRA, API-Bina Desa, FNN-CEDAC, and TWADA-NPUST partnerships were presented.
Two major resolutions were made during the forum and they were later adopted by the General Assembly.
One of these was to re-affirm the commitment of AsiaDHRRA to the development of autonomous POs. This entails pursuing the development of a framework or a tool to assess the development of such autonomous POs. It also means monitoring
the development of the partnership between DHRRA and partner POs. Finally, it also means assisting AFA in expanding its membership in countries where the DHRRAs operate.
The other resolution was to provide support to DHRRA and AFA members as recommended.
