In the framework of the MOU between NAMAC and IFAD, under the Asia-Pacific Farmers’ Program, NAMAC’s 16 member cooperatives from Arkhangai, Bulgan, Gobi-Altai, Dornod, Dundgobi, Khuvsgul, Khentii, Sukhbaatar, and Uvurkhangai provinces submitted a 4P business plan to the IFAD and 11 of them were selected to receive a soft loan from IFAD.
Thus, on 8 September 2021, the Small and Medium Enterprises Agency of Mongolia, the Additional Financing for the “Market and Pastureland Management and Development” project funded by IFAD, and the Mongolian National Association of Agricultural Cooperatives (NAMAC) jointly organized a loan agreement signing ceremony with the cooperatives.
After the ceremony, the revision of the Cooperative law was presented to the cooperative members which was followed by an open discussion.
