I am Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen from Vietnam. I am really concerned about the current issue of food safety. I think I need to do something to make people be more responsible and I think organic agriculture is the key. Practicing organic farming takes a lot of effort, but the vegetables, tubers, and fruits I planted have more yield, are of better quality, and are safer for human health.
In the process of following organic agriculture, I encountered many difficulties including capital and technology. To solve these problems, I boldly propose some solutions.
First, it is necessary to have specific policies to attract the young labor force to engage in clean agricultural production. Provide organic agriculture inputs such as seeds as well as capital, technology, and infrastructure. Organize training courses and seminars for learning exchange to promote efficiency in the production process.
Second, it is necessary to pay more attention to linking production to the market and selling products. Encourage investment in the direction of production, processing, and linking to the market.
Third, introduce and promote agricultural products and encourage consumption through annual agricultural product fairs.
Fourth, combine education, training, and exchange of practical experiences to create a learning environment for the young generation. This will form a healthy perception and thinking about clean and safe agriculture while they are still in school.
