A letter of support addressed to the WTO negotiators of member countries belonging to the G33, ACP, and LDC blocs was sent in the last week of June by AFA and AsiaDHRRA. The letter supported the groups’ commitment to call for adequate treatment of special products and special safeguard mechanisms. “Do not sign to a new round of agreement… if adequate measures are not addressed”, wrote Chairperson Seo, Jung Eui of AFA and Marimuthu Nadason of AsiaDHRRA.
