On July 1, 2021, Melissa Alamo from PAKISAMA shared the game-changing solutions for the young farmers’ agenda in the Philippines. Her presentation during the Consolidating Family Farmers Voices on Food Systems Summit, an AFA Independent Dialogue summarized the current situation and struggles of youth, young farmers.
PAMANAKA (Pambansang Samahan ng mga Nagkakaisang Kabataang Magsasaka) is the national federation of young farmers’ organizations from different parts of the country. It is the official young farmers’ arm of PAKISAMA which was established and recognized in 2019.
