The Asian Farmers’ Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA), will hold its “Orientation and Leadership Development for New ExeCom Officers and 22nd Execom Meeting” on May 26 to 27, 2008 at the Partnership Center, 59 C. Salvador St., Loyola Heights, Quezon City, Philippines. The event will be hosted by the Pambansang Kilusan ng mga Samahang Magsasaka (PAKISAMA).
The activity is aimed at enabling the AFA ExeCom members and secretariat to: (1) have a deeper appreciation of the history and development of AFA; (2) have a better understanding of AFA’s plans, programs, activities, operations; (3) develop mechanisms for coordination and communication among themselves as ExeCom members and between ExeCom and secretariat, and between members in general and secretariat; and, (4) formulate major projects and activities for 2008-2010 for further project development.
