The Land Portal Foundation and Mekong Region Land Governance (MRLG) invite you to a webinar exploring how agricultural transitions are reshaping rural livelihoods, forests, and ecosystems in the Mekong region. The expansion of industrial crops further into marginal uplands and the integration of smallholder farmers into transnational value chains are transforming rural livelihoods rapidly, creating new economic opportunities while excluding communities from access to their customary land and natural resources, while also increasing deforestation and environmental risks. The session will examine those transformations, the related governance challenges, and new initiatives to promote responsible agricultural investments.
Join this webinar to gain evidence-based insights that inform decision-making, inspire innovative solutions, and advance sustainable agriculture and tenure rights in the Mekong region and beyond.
The webinar will take place in English, Khmer, Lao, and Vietnamese.
