I am Lò Van Giot, living in Ban Hon commune, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province, Vietnam.
Vietnam is a country with an economy derived from agriculture, so farmers are diligent in agricultural production to create the best agricultural products. When farmers can reap the fruits of their labor, they are very happy and excited, however, they still worry about the output of products. For example, the oranges from the orange growing model of Ban Hon commune has no output and the price is not stable. People do not dare to boldly invest in their products, so these are not popular. The price is low due to bad designs and low product quality.
On behalf of farmers, I would like to suggest some solutions as follows:
- Conduct in-depth studies and use practical models to assess the potentials and strengths of each region. Find out agricultural products and specialties of each region that are suitable to the local conditions.
- Plan raw material areas to create a stable source of agricultural products, ensuring the satisfaction of quality standards required by the market.
Encourage people to produce clean agricultural food and adopt policies that give priority and encouragement to the people.
- Establish a chain of links between people and businesses in the production and consumption of agricultural products.
- Build factories to process and preserve agricultural products after harvest.
If my solutions are implemented, I would do my best to propagate and mobilize the people to implement the solutions well and make the agriculture of Ban Hon commune develop step by step.
