Today, March 8, International Womens’ Day, we celebrate women’s power to make our world a better place to live in – as daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, friends, workers , activists and as ourselves – individuals. Our world is full of stories and living examples of women making a difference whatever, wherever they are – at home, in the workplace, in the farms, in
society.
Today, let us take inspiration from the women in our midst who , in big and small ways, touch our lives. Today, let us show our solidarity to all women who are still struggling and advancing our rights, our welfare , as human beings, as farmers, as citizens of this world.
Shine on, daughter of a thousand dreams. Tend to those dreams with strength and courage. Shine on, woman of thousand hopes. Show everyone the beauty within you.
